I dislike Tony’s character a lot, not because he wasn’t well-acted (amazing job, RIP Gandolfini), but I hated his character for what he was (a sociopathic monster who took advantage of his weak loved ones, like his nephew Chris).

But I suppose... a mob boss trying to prove himself would, in a sense.

like you said he’s a mob boss, and while he does vile s*** pretty frequently, you also see him with his family and there are moments where tony does good things

i’m actually on my first watch of the show right now, just got to season 2

s*** is so good man not really into tv/movies but i’m f***ing hooked on this show
