From the looks of it, they’re all before Joe every actually spoke with Kanye over the phone when they first wanted to do the show. I think he said that talking with him on the phone opened his eyes to how Kanye thinks and helped him understand Kanye’s thinking more, which may have changed his opinion entirely leading to what we see from Joe now.
