Chill spooky. Joel Osteen IS selling productized “salvation.” Would you disagree? It disappoints me that Kanye might be trafficking in this game. Truly. And it seems it upsets you too. My only point is that it’s no different than trafficking in anything else that misleads people into spending money to acquire a greater sense of being / purpose. I mostly agree but the reason I hate religion is because overall I believe it causes way more problems on the planet than benefit. So when some b**** like Joel comes along and makes money off of people, it’s contributing to a system that is inherently good valued but ends up being bad it practice, especially when he’s scamming people. There are people giving half their paycheck to this dude every week and living in poverty because they think they’ll be saved and he encourages that. That’s just pure evil. So slightly different than regular capitalist commoditization to me
