first it was fans getting priced out now its artists getting priced out
see ya on the festival circuit in istanbul joey
BOB (remember him) is touring near me they had to downgrade the venue from a 1000 cap venuye to a 200 cap venue cause literally no one wanted to go
Insane. He had hip-hop wanting him to succeed in the pop space once upon a time
Not really true. Ab Soul was mainly clowned by obsessive Drake stans that don't like anyone associated with Kendrick. Everyone else recognised his freestyle was bad but moved on.
Joey Badass just wasn't able to reignite his career despite all the promo, but he was already heading in this direction
not drake stans he just f***ed up his freestyle and internet was just hating him for two days not a big deal but really him and joey went from most loved to most hated this year nobody listen to new joey album
His fall off literally needs to be studied
One of very few rappers who got a feature from Taylor Swift
not drake stans he just f***ed up his freestyle and internet was just hating him for two days not a big deal but really him and joey went from most loved to most hated this year nobody listen to new joey album
Is Joey even hated? I would say its just that people arent interested in him and his music
Market prices are f***ed up in comparison to income value.
Lol, its time to aiming for popularity over riches again
What you mean by this?
I agree but just curious.
Merch prices need to come down rather than ticket prices
need both to come down
Merch prices need to come down rather than ticket prices
livenation ceo thinks tickets are too cheap so its hopeless unless people fully boycott gigs
which will never happen cos that is therefore also not supporting your favourite artists lol
Bro I paid like $20 GA to see ScHoolboy Q, Vince Staples, and Isaiah Rashad probably like 11 years ago. $100 is just not affordable at all especially with everything else rising in price too
One of the first concerts i ever saw. Legendary tour
What you mean by this?
I agree but just curious.
market hype =\= spending power
these artists are hugely popular online, but their fans are not financially ready to invest in them so an artist having >30M streams doesn’t mean 100% they’ll even sell a $50 ticket
it’s why someone like Doechii is a good example to use for her market hype not matching her actual shows. yes, she’s able to sell and tour, but she’s not selling at the clip her market hype suggests she should be at (rap album of the year, billboard/mainstream magazine covers, met gala) just that her fans are just willing to enter at the price she has set, but those fans entering are still a low number
mad random but does anyone remember that rant Partynextdoor posted on instagram years ago that for some reason had its own graphic design that looked exactly like this? Someone must know what I’m talking about
So low sales
livenation ceo thinks tickets are too cheap so its hopeless unless people fully boycott gigs

Someone should shoot him in the chest and or neck
Damn, we gotta pray for the good brotha 🙏🏾
Joey let the trolls win smh
