Definitely seeing something magical brewing in her career, just based off a second listen
Loving this wave of experimental black female artists lately
KeiyaA, liv.e, L'Rain, Klein, Yaya Bey, Ojerime and now John Glacier. Pls let me know about anymore talented women in this scene.

in the more electronic realm (w/ hip hop influences) def Loraine James too, she's insanely good imo

eh, but real for reviewing at all I guess. Again the only big publication covering an important underground hip hop release. Judging from the 70 rym ratings so far this is flying a little under the radar so far... intersectional discrimination strikes again

I mean tbf I do that too to explain who he is to friends who never heard of him. Saying he's the guy who produced Nights is usually a good way to pique interest lol
Still, def disappointing they're not even acknowledging he's a very accomplished solo artist as well
Hoping the vinyl comes with a lyric sheet, rly wanna check those Platoon lyrics in particular not surprised she said it's one of her fav verses
@Sig9 check this album out if you haven't already
this is sick! imagine, I ran into dean blunt in china town/leicester square a lot taller than I thought
