the same story is still going on from the first film only like a month has passed lmao. Each one picks up at the end of the prior. A lot of people aren't looking at it like 5 separate films about a hitman its all continuing the same thing and adding new chapters to a book

as long as that stays even slightly interesting the action carries just perfectly. everyone who watches the sequels keep wanting to know what happens next its the perfect way to go about a series like this rather than just making separate stories with different creative teams and f***ing up after a while.

John Wick would have lost to Yayan Ruhian and Cecep Arif Rahman from The Raid if the movie didn't say he had to win, lol. You could clearly see the skill gap in their movement.

Ruhian and Rahman clearly just wanted to fight. Wick was tryna end them.

Yeah. But you could easily tell that Keeanu was way out of his league and they were slowing down their movement so he could keep up.
