wanted to make a thread to dedicate to the GOAT film maker of the 21st century, Hong Kong auteur Johnnie To. He cranks out flicks at a Miike-like rate, from many different genres, but is mostly known in the west for his stylized, hyper violent crime movies.
what is your favorite johnnie to movie?
any other ktt users big to-heads? a lot of his movies are quite hard to find.
Watched Mad Detective this month was really good, I’ve also seen D*** War I think, Throw Down is next
I have only seen Mad Detective which was actual insanity. So I can’t wait to watch more of his work.

I'd definitely appreciate that fam.
I just noticed that Tubi also has a few of his films available to watch right now, including Life Without Principle which is another one high on my Johnnie watchlist
To wrote Costello in vengeance for alain delon (charachter initially had alzheimers and not a bullet in the brain) and he said no because he didn’t wanna play a mental rétard with memory loss
To changed it to a bullet in the brain but the damage was already done
