Flop is crazy but opening weekend is tracking significantly less than the first one, combine that with mid reviews (the first one had mid reviews also but there was a big discrepancy, people either hated or overwhelmingly loved it, the same passion isn't there for those who enjoyed this) and then add that the movie is apparently trying real hard to distance itself from the people who co-opted the first one as an loser triumph and yeah it's gonna underperform.
