Maybe I haven't dug deep enough but I have yet to see any reviews/reactions online that really love this movie.
Even the ones who don't hate it seem to respect the ambition of it more than they actually enjoyed/liked it
This has the lowest rating I've ever seen for a movie on my country's largest ticket selling site.
This released yesterday over here and has a 5/10 currently (will probably drop more) while even the most dumb generic slop gets scored in the high 6s.
Todd Philips prolly hated that WB forced him to do a sequel so he just killed off his own success with this film
Back to s***ty Hangover sequels for him I guess

Don't agree with this being a cash grab tbh. If that was the case he'd do a regular sequel

It was such a forced sequel that it felt like that to me. There was literally no reason for this to exist outside of “joker was a cultural phenomenon so let’s print more money”
this a camrip classic?
airplane movie selection classic
I just don't find Arthur's arc interesting in this film. And at the heart of it that's what the film is about. Way worse than part 1
how much they sing in this? i hate singing s*** while acting
So like apparently (I haven't seen it yet) it's not really a musical where the songs act as character dialogue. It's a jukebox musical so there's really no original songs? From my understanding they're singing songs from like the 50s and 60s
