That was literally the running theory when the first movie came out, that Arthur Fleck would just be the inspiration for the real Joker to come, I just got out of the theater and I can’t believe they actually did that

The last five minutes of this movie literally makes the more 2019 movie and this entire movie a complete and utter waste of time

Part of me feels like Joaquin not wanting to return for a third movie heavily influenced how this one played out. They probably expect this movie to make another boatload of money and will obviously greenlight a third movie, I bet that Joaquin didn’t wanna return for the third one

Even if you put the ending aside, the rest of this movie is still just a complete and utter waste of time, I truly don’t know what the thinking was behind this
