Not Like JosukeYeah, I think we all wondered how this would actually work if THIS joker was gonna become THAT joker.
And everyone who thought this shoulda came to the conclusion that "nah this should just be a one and done"
Def interested in how they gonna write this tho
maybe it will have a Harley Quinn storyline so it doesn't have to become a crime/action movie.
Or it becomes a crime/action movie where it's him vs. Gotham PD/Gordon or some other Batman-verse hero (one of the robins, Azrael, nightwing)
Or he wakes up after blacking out in Bangkok

Just have him be a precursor character like the start of a lineage just how the idea of Batman doesn't end with Bruce. Yeah he wasn't our Batman battle tested purple suit one but he can def improve if they set it a few years after or something. We never got that much Joker plotting in the first
Says something if Phoenix is willing to do a sequel for anything tho. They prob have had an idea ever since doing the first one. Its honestly a good elseworlds idea

To Batman era? I don't see the need. How old was Bruce even he looked like a little kid. would rather see this Joker build himself up into a good plotter and get better than a time jump. There's enough that happens in Gotham prior to Batman's arrival to go through
We already are gonna get our Batman v Joker (even if its side action) when its time for Reeves to tackle it years down the road.

Few Ways they could go
Would be cool if they dealt with him rising to become a mob boss in 80’s-90’s Gotham, maybe even throw a version of Harley in there but definitely not Spring Breakers Joisey Guhl Margot Robbie Harley. Could have Unmasked Rich Bruce in it somehow;
