I wouldn't have expected Jon Stewart to be so dismissive in this situation. To be so uneducated on the "black" plight. Unfortunately, this is highly disappointing but it should've been expected after hearing his interviews of Gary Gensler.

To turn around and focus of his plight is bullshit

Trust me, it's not. It's a perception of empathy because it isn't derived from the actual people, only his perspective.

I've watched Jon for over 20 years. I've watched him without fail only address "black" issues that he personally identifies with via his "black" experience. I'm in no way speaking negatively of Jon, but it's just now a realization of why he should not hold any intellectual authority in public spaces other than meditation and/or structure

Literally nobody else has come close to being sympathetic to the black experience when it comes to antisemitism so the fact that he IS as a Jewish person is pretty goddamn commendable.

This is where the issue lies. Shemites are "Negroid" and Japahites are "Caucasoid." It's the hypersensitivity that's led to incredible misinterpretation of the phrase "antisemitism"

Jon has always been able to walk a fine line with controversial topics but he has a point. You radicalize a group of ppl with this thought by trying to cancel them and take everything away. That only makes the problem worse

The people upset about what he is saying are the same people who have been pushing for absolutely ridiculous, fascist, and stupid measures such as "safe spaces" and thinking its okay for corporations that control our livelihood to take that away from us if we fall out of line with liberal groupthink. This is why I have been saying the true fascists in our society are the liberals. The alt right are the alt right because of how far they have had to push to escape the grasp of the fascist left.
