They really played Niggas in Paris this movie is cringe
Sad thing is you can actually make an interesting conversation based around Jewish people and black people without it being so cliche, forced and on the nose . But instead they went for cheap laughs to hopefully appease Gen Z

I am telling you I don't even think a gen z would f*** with this . I am not Gen Z but this is just bad writing
I mean lets face it bro this is a perfect movie for low iq/plebs/basic people. It's perfect for Netflix demographic. Same f***ers watching that god awful 90s show
Nah that’s a fact fr. That barbershop scene tho, that was the final straw like bruh…this some s*** they put in that Cedric the entertainer show “the neighborhood” like this scene feels like it’s written by an old white man who knows nothing about black culture or gang culture

We’ll see how it does. If they don’t f*** wit it then they just hypocritical cus I’m telling you this dialogue…I can do a twitter search and find these exact same lines on there.
If I wrote this movie ( 😒 ) I’d keep it to one setting, the two families meeting over dinner. Limit it to just those 6 characters. I’d keep the run time at 85-90 minutes, have some natural humor in there and an actual conversation. Not whatever this forced s*** was. And not the god awful commentary they tried to forced in with Jonah and friends podcast
Kenya Barris. Impossible to expect anything worthwhile from him
oh he going through a divorce after 20 years of marriage let him cook
Kenya Barris. Impossible to expect anything worthwhile from him
I just got to the part where he is in the movie
Kenya Barris. Impossible to expect anything worthwhile from him
I remember in 2020 he had some show on Netflix and there was a scene where Issa Rae and other filmmakers was clowning his work (his actual work) and I don’t think they was joking lol
bro they write these characters like they've never met a real person before. white OR black. jewish OR muslim. these don't feel like real people at all lmao
lmfao I thought this the whole time i’m like these niggas feel like robots
oh he going through a divorce after 20 years of marriage let him cook
He been going through a divorce for 7 years?
He been going through a divorce for 7 years?
he getting paid by white people to make this s*** at least
house party being better than this shouldn’t be reality but it is
isnt house party s*** too
Taco was on throwing fits a few weeks back and he was gassing up some of the jokes on this as if they were some super controversial offensive s*** that nobody could even say anymore lol
lol yeah but this was worse
I am saying if neither are watchable is comedy doomed
Keep in mind that Jonah hill is the same guy when writing Mid90s said “I tried to perfect everything. Every little uh and um the characters say was written in the script”
Too bad he ain’t put this same energy into this
That’s the point…
I am saying realistically we shouldn't watch any of these s*** movies to even see if they are s***

Lmaoooooooooo. This is why niggas need to stop
Hyping up projects before they come out. Wether it be music or films. Take a page out of Kendrick’s playbook. STFU and let the art speak for itself
I am saying realistically we shouldn't watch any of these s*** movies to even see if they are s***
Realistically we as black ppl gotta stop allowing s*** like this to get made. We really need to step it up when it comes to the film industry.
