this isn’t directly related ..don’t know if you remember that Nate Parker dude?, guy was making a Nat Turner biopic, pretty sure Denzel vouched so he had pretty good momentum going…had a SA scandal where a women killed herself in his past come to light…I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone’s life prospects dissolved so completely, just something that plays on my mind when situations like this become public

Yeah when its a delicate subject that can trigger enough people its not surprising. Innocent, guilty or no matter how many people stand up for them. That is all I am saying. Obviously yes race and prominence in the industry play a factor. But when a case gets vivid enough it can traumatize people by proxy or makes them think of their own trauma. I am simply saying less of Ezra case made people think of their own trauma it made them get jokes off
