AND THERE IT IS. That's literally the reason why people were lookin at the situation crazy. The texts on their own were not gonna help Majors look innocent. That's just the reality of things. Whether you like it or not, we live in a world where victims of domestic abuse often cover for the person who abuse them. It's sad as hell. And that's a major reason why people chose to either lambast Majors and cut ties with him, or just wait until actual evidence comes out.

But my point is why can’t niggas see it from a neutral standpoint until context is presented? Why does it have to be “crazy” until evidence gets attached?

A chick saying “it was my fault” shouldn’t just automatically mean “she’s covering for him”….because even tho it wasn’t you, it leads others to now run with the “see he’s guilty, see he looks like the type!”

Looks like a lot of us misread this one, including myself. The strangulation s*** at the beginning (turned out to be false info or atleast dropped from the case) plus the Twitter accounts saying “we knew about his abuse for years” really swayed public opinion. Them Twitter accounts went dark too btw. I’m still waiting on the trial but it seems majors didn’t do anything wrong.

Strangulation was initially reported by the police. It was dropped as evidence supporting the ex-girlfriend's story was introduced. Apparently she sustained some other injuries but I don't believe that was Majors' doing. At least this is what she is saying.

From how this whole thing has gone now that more evidence is coming forth, it seems like she was frustrated with Majors texting some other woman and she didn't like it. Led to an argument in some cab. They later got home and Majors went out somewhere. I'm guessing his girl got drunk and s*** while he wasn't at the crib, her drunk ass hurt herself, neighbors probably assumed it was some kinda situation between her and Majors, she was brought to the hospital and police took Majors in.
