    Worth a read for balance.

While she completely ignores that Jabbari has just been arrested after evidence was presented.

This is “classic while liberal woman on Twitter does a damage control tweet thread after more information comes out on a case she went hard on a couple of months earlier for clout” at its finest.

Like we didn’t just see this with Amber Heard despite a whole court case proving her lies and abuse and like she didn’t have a documented history of domestic abuse before she even met Johnny Depp.

At the end of the day for these Twitter finger “activists”, it’s always gonna be “the man abused her and if she did it to him he must have done something to deserve it” because they’ve spent years pushing a narrative that women can’t abuse men due to the patriarchy that exists in modern society.

    Its never been more over

    https://twitter.com/rollingstone/status/1674608715859722240

And this article is really s***ty to post when you can’t even get the two romantic partners on record saying he’s abusive and have to resort to “two dozen” mysterious “sources”.

Remember when the Weinstein expose came out and a lot of women didn’t want their identities exposed but Ronan Farrow still got THEM on the record with testimonies and not “sources”?

If the actual women make a statement, identities withheld or revealed, then it’s a valid thing to take into account but this just feels like piss poor journalism.

As part of Majors’ legal team’s response to Rolling Stone’s request for comment on the abuse allegations, his attorneys sent six character witness statements from women who Majors had dated or was close with. Majors’ attorney noted in his statement that Rolling Stone “was provided statements from Mr. Majors’s actual past romantic partners attesting to his character and the falsity of the charges, but Rolling Stone purposefully ignored those facts and red flags and published the false charges anyway.”

In fact, Rolling Stone reached out to all six people. Three say they never gave Majors’ team permission to release such statements. Another woman declined to share the statement credited to her by Majors’ team, saying it was pre-written, not truthful, and that she had never approved of its release. (One did not respond to a request for comment.)

Does anyone really view RS as a credible source lol?

I aint read the article yet, but if he’s as big a menace as this headline is trying to get us to believe, why ain’t faculty step in? And I ain’t even gone lie, I need to know the races of all these alleged victims.

This kinda confusing. The first paragraph says they ignored the alleged witnesses in Major’s defense, but the second paragraph says they vetted the witnesses and found them to be untrustworthy essentially? Which is it?

Basically saying his exes didn’t even talk with Rolling Stone even though they were mentioned in the article kinda insinuating that what’s being claimed is bullshit

They bank so hard on these narratives that when it comes out that it could be the opposite instead of putting their hands up and saying “we f***ed up, we jumped the gun on this particular one” they have to try and double down to maintain the extremist audience that they maintain because those people will always believe that the man somehow deserved it if evidence came out against the woman.

Look at Caroline Fleck in the UK, famous tv presenter that cracked her bf’s head open with a lamp while he was asleep in bed, police arrested her on the scene and she committed suicide before sentencing. A lot of women made her out to be the victim despite the clear cut case and based it on her husband forgiving her ignoring the well researched phenomenon of victims forgiving and defending their abuser that they would have been screaming about if the roles were reversed.

Not to mention she was famous before that for a predatory relationship with a 17 year old Harry Styles when she was presenting the X Factor season One Direction, she was 32 YEARS OLD AT THE TIME.

Sometimes I get the feeling that certain women don’t want an end to domestic abuse so much as they want their turn to be the abusers.

By Rolling Stones’ standard of reporting, thousands of sources in 2009 claimed they heard Lady Gaga had both a p**** and a vagina.

We don’t wanna hear about the anonymous sources Rolling Stones writers meet while snorting crack off toilet lids on Rodeo Drive restaurant bathrooms, we want to hear from the alleged abused parties.

This honestly the way to be before a court decision.

Take the allegations seriously, support real justice with a criminal investigation and court proceedings.

In regards to your last point..I don't think they want to be abusers. I think a lot of these women have past trauma that hasn't been dealt with. It really clouds their judgement and how they view the world...more specifically...cases of domestic abuse.

I think some of them are like this, I also think there’s a big portion of women who scream bloody murder about men assaulting women and yet also believe it’s completely acceptable to put their hands on their male partner if they think they’ve lost an argument or something’s upset them.
