I think Butler is the best choice tbh. Given his work in The Bikeriders. I don't find the other suggestions very persuasive. Miles Teller did something adjacent in Too Old to Die Young already.

I liked it. Hardy's best performance in a while. Jodie Comer does a crazy accent. Butler gets to pretend he's James Dean.
