He has never made a trap album and Vultures Volume 1 sounds nothing like a trap album.
what do you want me to say to this when it’s just blatantly not true/semantics
every song he’s made since 2014 hasn’t been a trap song no but it’s delusional to act like he doesn’t include like 8 of the same general type of trap (or drill) beat song on every album since 2014 lol
jpeg gonna give him new beat styles to get that same type of s*** off without being redundant sonically

Ye doesn't have trap music
Jesus Is King for sure doesn't have trap music
Donda had few songs with trap drums which got removed by release.
Donda 2 is your closest bet and it only had like 4-5 out of 20 plus tracks.
I don't recall him releasing any trap album.

It went from Ye doesn’t have trap music to certain albums being my closest bet and you acknowledging he uses a lot of trap drums when he didn’t do that for most of his 2000’s work
Get some rest brother
Trap music
Literally the first minute cause they took a Young Thug song and made the rest as a tribute. The last part of the song is literally gospel 💀
Again, the album has varied prod like most his albums and will have 3-4 trap-like songs. But won't be a trap album like his other ones.

@browser trap album not music, hope the eyes are working fine brother. Not me who needs rest.

The second beat is a trap beat
If you’re saying it’s not trap music because he not talking about d**** I’m saying it is because it has a trap beat and that’s where we disagree
Using a trap beat means he gonna use a certain type of flow which decides the whole feel of the song

Using trap drums doesn't make it a trap song but I guess that's a diff convo I don't wanna get into with you.
Specially for an artist with ye cause a lot of the times the drums are changed constantly within a week and even removed altogether for ye.
Only Vultures Vol. 2 is looking like it'll be a trap album as of now.
Jail literally had trap drums for a long ass time. Still wouldn't call it a trap song 🤷

this the same kanye that had future exec producing donda 2 lmaooo
he’s absolutely been making a ton of trap music, it shouldn’t even be an argument fr

Nobody denied about him making trap music
But is Donda a trap album or no?
INTERVIEWER: And it sounds like you don’t mind pissing off Morrissey in the process…
JPEGMAFIA: F*** that nigga. Here is someone who says a bunch of dumb, goofy s***. He’s a certified a******, yet he is still applauded by people who cancel other niggas for less. Why does he get a pass? Because he makes good music? It is okay to be racist if your music is fire? I want to make people see the hypocrisy of it all.
“The collaboration with Brown was a no-brainer for JPEG: ‘I approached Danny because – s***, Kanye’s a Nazi now, so he’s my #1 rapper at this point.’”
genuinely confused by this move. praising the old catalogue in interviews is one thing but working with Kanye now?? when the claim has been that his s*** is driven by integrity and principles??

why do y’all still cope over this trap thing like genres are typically classified on subject matter versus the actual sounds that are commonly found in them
like you don’t sound enlightened for doing this semantic hair splitting, no one else considers trap to be the way you say it is, when someone says something is trap, they’re referring to the sound of the music, not the lyrics

Even if you go by the sound, saying his last 3-4 albums are all same-y trap albums is just dumb when they have max like 3-4 songs out of 20 with trap drums.
Like honestly if you hear Donda, Ye or JIK and think they are trap albums, then I'm just gonna think you are dumb as s***
I love 'em both, but someone once said Jpeg rapped like a Camp-era Gambino on cocaine or ketamine and I haven't had that impression leave my mind since
Oh hes not a great rapper for sure, while hes a impressive producer

dog “trap” sensibilities have become just common tropes in mainstream rap in this case it’s not semantics at all to point out easily identifiable differences between actual trap music/artist & people who just think the beats sound cool
