it's still taught by many christians though. I remember growing up rich people were looked down upon
I agree thought that most christians today are about Jesus making them richer, but I don't think this was always the case.
I'm not saying it justifies any hate or stereotypes, but it does impact how much prosperity you have if you teach prosperity to your kids young
