Basically we provide a service to clients and have the legal right to discontinue that service at any time. Obviously the client maintains ownership of all of their assets but we have the ability to completely lock the account until the assets are transferred to another institution

Its pretty rare at this level, but i started my career at a brokerage firm and saw it constantly. Its typically small accounts with suspicious transactions but the same process applies here
