Its unfair to get 10 years in jail for an accident that caused unintentional harm (yet still very stupid to shoot a gun near someone, I know).

Some people shoot guns trying to cause intentional harm, HIT the target (sometimes even kill them) and do less time.

Its not rocket science to see the severity and extremity of a 10 year sentence for this specific situation.

I’ve been handling firearms since I was a kid and know not to aim/shoot at/in someone’s direction unless im trying to hit them. And if you’re drunk you should know damn well not to handle your weapon especially seeing that he’s a grown ass man, whether it was intentional (which I believe it was because of his reaction to this whole situation) or a accident he has no one to blame for his predicament, your gun = your responsibility and consequences

• he violated the protection order
• he didn’t take the plea
• made an entire album about the situation but wouldn’t take the stand
• this is a high profile case, and the incident happened in a highly wealthy area

there are people who have caused more harm with their crimes and gotten less time, usually because they plead out and play ball. i feel like you should stop talking if you don’t understand how that works
