before I say anything Juice is one of the most talented musicians I've seen
however calling him the greatest songwriter we seen in a long time is a stretch.
While he's probably the greatest melodic artist ever in rap and his ability to instantly craft memorable lines is otherwordly.. his lyrics are incredibly lacking. He literally says the exact same things every single song. I know he's half freestyleing most of it but that's the point. I already know what he wants to say before he says it.
Also how can you be one of the greatest songwriters when all your songs are literally about your sadness and d*** addiction. If the topics were done in creative ways I could understand the praise.
But it seems like most of juice praise its because 70% of teenagers are sad and depressed and his lyrics are easily singable.
Not tryna clown him I'm more just frustrated we lost an all time talent because of his d*** addiction.

No one is going to make 2,000 songs or however many he made in just a couple years without a ton of repetition. The fact that very few of the ones that have been released are duds speaks to his talent. Juice was barely 21 when he died, he might have had more potential than damn near any artist ever
Dec 5, 2021I get the criticisms of his content, but I agree that he was incredibly talented. His music overall is an impressive display of freestyle songwriting. And his ear for melodies along with his voice was a unique combo in the emo soundcloud rap scene.
