We had the exact same experience with it. Being able to read Shibuya in full was a treat

Some parts of this arc have been worth reading weekly or biweekly but the maki fight slowed the pace to a crawl for me idk

I’m sure the culling games will be fire as a whole but I might need a break after this fight

Watching the movie soon, can't wait

Realistically Hidden Inventory might be like 5 episodes max but I still don’t think all of Shibuya can be covered in the remaining episodes

I was thinking the same, that’s a pretty good point to close the season.

Is shibuya really that hectic and fight oriented at the start for the 12th or 13th ep of the first cour to end there? Then hidden inventory will be like 5 or 6 eps? Kinda rushed imo

They have to get through hidden inventory and then also the mechamaru s*** so maybe like 7 episodes on that

Then we have like 16-18 episodes to get through all of shibuya. After 1-2 episodes of setup it’s pretty much all fights so it should be doable

Hidden arc is very short

I guess it could be done but at the same time i can see them dragging out some fights for the sake of good animation and making some of then even more interesting, so imo i wouldnt discard that the season could end with Gojo being sealed instead of the first cour

Nah ain’t nooooo way the whole season ends on that note. That’s basically part of the set up for the arc

I think they’re gonna go all the way to yuta saying he’s gonna kill yuji so they capitalize on that movie hype

Gege really looks like he reads people cause every time i see complains about smth he goes off every time, thats why people need to understand this arc needs a build up and this s*** is just starting

Reread the manga up to current and 2 things I noticed I absolutely adore about jjk

• its political af and in a good way. Maki beating a guy in the sumo ring, Maki existence, Fujitori ideology, Anti Conservatism and Juji is a pretty unusual character too when you look at him closely

• the competitiveness of the fights. Unlike any manga before the author managed to give literally all sorcerers here this common understanding and competitiveness. Its like any sorcerer just wants to constantly up the others. Winners arent certain and even when they are the losers of fights so often still seem badass simply for trying
