Megumi’s dad left the Zenin family and married a woman and took her last name Fushigoro. Megumi was later to be sold back to the Zenin family, Toji told Goju about Megumi before he died, so that he’d hopefully be trained by him or something. He was still sold to the Zenin’s but opted to keep his mother’s last name.
