man they handled nanamis death perfectly loved all the extra scenes they added easily my fav teacher of the series. Did not like yuji vs mahito as much. I could not tell what yuji was doing or how he even got to a place a lot of times. Not blaming the animators we all know their situation just sucks that the situation is like this.
but next eps is the one ive been looking forward to the most besides yuji vs choso

Yeah I figured this episode would’ve been sacrificed a bit and I can live with it even if I preferred Nanami’s death and the introduction to this fight being done exceptionally but I understand the circumstances. As long as they save that animation budget for when Todo joins until the end of the fight, I won’t even be upset whatsoever. And im pretty sure Yuta is going to have his entrance this season with the iconic panel as the cliffhanger lol

The shot of Haibara pointing at Yuji is my fav shot in the whole episode. I love how, despite being such a minor character, he anchors so much emotion for other characters like Nanami and Geto.
