I guess I mean the ending "arc" was kinda wack with those last couple episodes, they just didn't feel like a "finale" at all. Just fighting the last couple jobbers with the tattoo curse. The moment with the promotion was the most finale feeling thing, and whatever megumi thing you mentioned just felt like a 2 second cutaway, whatever that glance or smirk was went over my head
