That was a really great chapter. People are going come back to these chapters and realize it’s Sukuna against everyone because he plans to end Japan. So no duh everyone will fight him. But every chapter is great or amazing with them going up against. We are at the tail end of the fights since he is just doing clean up duty of whoever is left.

I want 4 arms too

What annoys me is that people act like they never saw a gauntlet before in a manga. Literally every battle manga has a stretch like this but jjk just has Sukuna dominance be more appealing.

Weekly reading bias imo.

At the end of the day this just a single chapter everytime. A third of an anime episode.

I dont believe people should be rating shows based of weekly reading anyways.

And jjk still has short fights overall.

I wish sometimes I was in the gc that the actual savant jjk readers were in like detective critics, whiskey jack, and lightning who actually care for the series and think most the fandom don’t read it correctly. They break down the syntax and meanings. Like they made the reason why Miguel showing up abundantly clear since Sukuna is the strongest of his era only in Japan, but never ventured out of Japan before which is why Miguel said “you don’t know about me? You Japanese need to broaden your horizon” Now he has to prove he the strongest in the world by battling the strongest sorcerer from another continent. That’s dope as hell

The blocking spree i've been on in social media has been crazy and specially some big "fan" accounts, i love that a lot of people who switch up are very vocal and when i see their criticism i can tell that their ass is not reading this is a good thing, these people need to drop the series

All for the Miguel agenda. His character design is fire and he’s from the motherland. Those African genes about to be too strong. He probably on a different level from his Gojo fight, since he’s Yuta’s master

Some respectable accounts that have actual good takes are Lightning, whiskeyjack, shamanunholy, detective critics, shadzmangaonly and former soul king. They give brilliant write ups on chapters time to time.

Right now people are being brain dead again and I have to stay off Twitter to not see the farming for engagement with stupid memes with repetitive bad takes.

I was about to read it actually and thanks for the info, Lightning is my top 1 when it comes to info and takes about JJK and is always a treat to read anything from him

I had never read JJK:0, I consumed that part of the story through the anime. And it's curious that the scene where Gojo beats the f*** outta Miguel never happens in the JJK:0 manga. In fact, that whole fight takes place off-screen. So Gege saying that Miguel went toe to toe with Gojo might not be as silly as many people say. But yeah the anime f***ed up in that respect because it made Miguel look like a scrub.

Two great things with Miguel showing up is we may learn how curse energy musters in other countries to treat powerful sorcerers there. And also it continues the theme of the strongest because Sukuna only fought in Japan, now he might fight the strongest sorcerer from Africa, even if he is way weaker than Gojo (he was able to survive which is an achievement by Miguel, he held Gojo off for enough time to not stop him from getting back to the school)

The people who don’t read JJK thoroughly but love to insult it actually attacked lightning last week because he said that the fight is great and that jjk fans need to read better. I find it funny that they would attack him for his opinion on what’s happening when we get important subtext from his translations lol

Like my brother in christ, you are talking to an actual translator and avid enjoyer/fan of the series, he knows a lot more than what he says even its crazy

People are really trying their hardest to ruin and tarnish the popularity and reputation of the manga from their lack of comprehension and dumbifying the events. You know it’s fake when two chapters ago those same people were saying it’s peak but then a chapter later they got back to farming engagement.

I bet if people read manga without knowing the fandom, their experience would be much different because they wouldn’t hear these dumb takes which can take away from reading and have them think for themselves. You literally see people rehashing other’s opinions.

While i may understand the weekly read plus the usual week to 2 weeks break seems tedious and could ruin your reading experience i just cant agree that the story is getting boring, the writting is bad or Gege is writing himself into a corner, this s*** is just straight up cool as f*** plus before the shinjuku showdown you couldnt pay me to convince me that Kusakabe is an amazing sorcerer and a great character but here we are and he is crazy good.

We are currently learning so much from every single character giving their all with every single technique and knowledge against the very PINNACLE of that, that alone makes every single fight so far simply great and people really need to think that if you were to read all of these chapters in one go you wouldnt remember s*** or have the time to a***yze what just happened, people need to be less impatient and appreciate the fact that you can read something as good as JJK basically on a weekly basis, thats my take from all the discourse i've seen on social media lmao sorry for the long post but im just hyped af from this chapter and whats to come, i just love this series

meh I’m pretty bored just want to get to the merger don’t really have much emotional connection to anything besides yuji and kugisakis fate but it seems the shonen character foundations are uninteresting to Gege. Don’t come at me with the weekly allegations. I’ve been reading s\*\*\* sequential since I collected monthly shonen jump in ‘02\. That also means I’m old af so make what you will with that info. I appreciate that y’all are having fun and I know the adaptation will be fire. My emotional investment is at its nadir, just give sukuna the belt so we can move on to something else.
