Sukuna was about to open his domain but then he stops because he notices what seems to be Gojo. Doesn't make sense for Sukuna to stop opening his domain because he sees a ghost. That would be dumb

Gojo being back would be the worst thing, besides ruining all the fights and making it extremely unfair, WHAT WOULD HE F\*\*\*ING NEED TO DO TO A SUKUNA AT 0HP? Only real options are ghost or Kenny which actually can make sense.

People are celebrating but aren’t even thinking how would this make any sense narratively if he was just alive. It would be plotholes and asspulls.

Like I said, Sukuna was about to open his domain and Yuji would be toast if he did. It just doesn't make sense to me why Sukuna would stop from opening his domain due to what seems like Gojo being there if he isn't actually there. Gojo's ghost appearing to stop him from opening his domain sounds even dumber.

I agree though, I never liked the idea of Gojo coming back so I'm hoping that's not the case.

Now Kenjaku coming back with Gojo's body could be interesting because I always wanted him to meet Yuji again before his death. But we literally saw Kenjaku die and we know that kid with the blanket took Gojo's body so how would Kenjaku even get to it in order to facilitate this transfer assuming he somehow cheated death?

Hmm honestly dunno why would sukuna be shocked at seeing kenjaku? I think Kenjaku will be relevant down the line later, dead or alive doesnt matter. My bet is on Sukuna being haunted by Gojo and rendered unable to use his domain again.

Sukuna is practically beaten, but man Kenny in Gojo's body? How would they beat him? It would be practically impossible.

Leaving aside narrative reasons why some people don't like the fact that Gojo might be alive, the fact is that this in itself is not illogical.

The manga rn is calling back to previous moments in the story. And the last panel mirrors the moment when Gojo met Toji for the last time. And if you remember; there, a presumed defeated Gojo said to Toji he didn't die because "you failed to cut my head off". This has been established a long time ago.

And actually, if Gojo really is back, it doesn't mean he's going to fight Sukuna. In fact, it would make much more sense narratively for Gojo to simply not fight and witness his students "surpass him" as they deal the fatal blow to Sukuna.

Sukuna could still activate the merger before he dies, and then we'd be entering the final story arc.

Well how would they beat the merger either? The good guys were fated to fight something more powerful after Sukuna anyways if the merger happened. So Kenny in Gojo’s body could just be there to get the merger started. Back stab Sukuna as well. Kenny is a mastermind character and has planned all of this. This would be the perfect time to reintroduce him back to the story

It’s literally terrible writing, JJK loses most its merit for how it handled this arc just because it brought back a fan favorite for an incredibly dumb parallel. The thing is Kenny being alive would make no sense considering we literally saw Yuta pierce him. Like, I guess Gege could circle around that with some "binding vow" bs but I would not bet on it.

I'm only saying it wouldn't be inconsistent, based on how Gege has written past events. I personally think that he's not back. But the idea should not be easily discarded.

Btw, in the same vein, Kenjaku has already served his purpose + we've seen him die. So, yeah..
