So good to be off the small hiatus

While I see the arguments for it being called bad writing I have to disagree when seeing these interviews. Gege wants us to have affection to a character that dies and he achieved that (which was why he didnt kill mei mei for example). He is completely focused on what leaves an impact on the reader while sacrificing „time“ you spend with a character or building up connection between the reader and the character. He already said he wants to do that because that is what makes character seem realistic by just alluding to their person and never showing too much of them.

In naboras case its hard to deny that it wasnt successful looking at all the people that want her back in the story. While you may not like it gege achieved what he was looking for even tho it seems odd to kill off a character that barely met her potential.

As I said if you think its bad writing thats ok but I think gege got an interesting perspective on it tbh

Yeah we can disagree/agree, I do see your POV on this though. Honestly the point of my post was that I really don't think Nobara should come back so I'm kinda glad that Gege (kinda?) confirmed that she is in fact dead

How I see it is, I really liked Nobara, and wouldn’t mind if she was brought back into the story, but I also don’t f***ing understand how someone who lost a part of their brain potentially could still be functional. Because she couldn’t have just died from her eye exploding lol so I rather her stay out the story until the end where they reveal her status or be brain dead so Gege can stick to his committed vision.

Nonetheless, I don’t think that interviews confirms she’s dead dead really. At least not to me. But I already accepted she might be.

I am glad shounen jump finally lets mangaka end their story on their accord. Just like demon slayer I believe jjk will end on a high

And just to speculate a bit

I am expecting the merging of tengen in whatever form it will happen to begin before sukunas death. Im expecting Sukuna to win the battle. Yuji alone will finish him off after the merging happened and the entire tengen subplot will be done in a mini arc similar to e "idiot survivor" mini arc.

Keep in mind this arc has only been 40/41 chapters exactly so far and so much has happened lol we can still get up another 30-40 chapters, which should be enough for Sukuna and the merger.

Just give me Yuji’s domain expansion and I’m satisfied

well as the tweet says. Its only gege too. If this came from Jump or his editors it would mean that its ending very soon but it has happened in the past that authors said that they will end it soon and then it still took them years to finish the manga.

and we kinda knew this was the last act already since even years ago gege told us that jjk will be told in 3 major arcs.
