I hope this is not a spoiler for you and you watched the movie but apart from it being the beginning of their falling out, Its about the meaning of their actions.

Gojo asks him if he should kill all the cult people even tho it has no meaning. They wouldnt feel better and since the real leaders are already gone it doesnt have a purpose.

Now at this point both of them do not do it since it lacks meaning. where gojo then moves on Geto is still staying behind looking for a reason to kill them.

And that reason will be revealed in the next episode

Watching Bleach atm, and it made me appreciate JJK fights. Gege is great at making fights look like they could go either way. Bleach fights are so up and down and play out pretty formulaic. Still both visually stunning.

That’s probably the thing that’s improved the most from classic shonen to current ones. DB and Bleach are notable ones that I hate for how they depict most fights - someone is clearly stronger and then the other fighter does some ridiculous power up to supersede them

It’s pretty insane this is Itadori’s show and the mangaka basically dedicates what is proportionally, almost half of the show to this point to Gojo

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but Gojo and Geto basically swapped philosophies in terms of their stance on non sorcerers from their time as students to the present, right? That’s how I saw it as an anime only viewer

Basically, although young Gojo is more apathetic than malicious in his duties as a sorcerer i.e. thinking that protecting non-sorcerers is a bullshit moral argument. He’s arrogant in his abilities and strength so anyone he deems weaker he couldn’t care about. Geto actually has evil intentions.

I'd say db was pretty good with it until the cell saga where damn near every fight was insanely one sided.

This is one of the only shonen where the “main character” is literally weaker than 85% of the cast

People been begging for a yuji power up for 2 years now but he just keeps getting lapped by everyone else
