Sure criticize but a lot of the echo-chambered “potential” I see people bring up is head canon bullshit. To an extent yes when it comes to a delivered story you will need to accept what’s given to have an actual understanding and enjoyment of the series.

Are there things I’m disappointed with? Sure! Were they necessary for the series to be successful and the ending to wrap up the series as a whole? Honestly not really

Sukuna is irredeemable. Only lived for himself and his personal freedom was everything to him. Being inside Yujis body would be the complete opposite of what Sukuna stands for. Because everything was just for him and his entertainment until he died. Sukuna the type of guy that would rather be killed than end in prison

Yuji offers him this because he is the one that revivied Sukuna and wants to take responsibility. Yuji dont like the guy either lol. Its like he says they could try to coexist and sukuna could experience the life of a human and not of a curse. But he probably refused cause of reasons I just said.

This is funny because Obito might actually be a worse person than even Sukuna. He used the Nine Tails to kill Naruto's parents ad destroy the villaige. This caused a rise of tension between Konoha and the Uchiha (leading to the Uchiha massacre). AND he was hands on in the extermination of the Uchiha clan (his own people). Set up Nagato's friend to get killed so he could turn him into a puppet for a terrorist organization that would kill many more. Then started the 4th ninja war which killed thousands upon thousands, the biggest war in Naruto history. Dude was actually the equivalent of Hitler in this universe

This is on Gege then. Given how quickly it was ending you could argue he could’ve made the preceding arcs more tight. Introducing a lot of potential plot points and then criticising people for bringing them up not being explored or being abandoned doesn’t make sense.

I was just reading the TCB chapter, and it hit me: How on earth is Megumi back and not a vegetable? It didn’t even cross my mind while going through the leaks, but I just remembered this guy got hit with multiple Unlimited Voids. Gege really raised the stakes and made it seem incredibly damaging, but now it’s suddenly not a big deal?

i think Sukuna was tanking those plus the clashing domains may have played a role idk. Megumi's soul was buried so deep within that i dont think it reached him

Unlimited void doesn't make curse users/jujutsu sorcerers vegetables, just regular people. The strength of the domain is that it gives Gojo free attacks both inside and outside of the barrier for an indeterminate period. When Sukuna finally took a hit, Gojo had to rush in to crush his organs precisely because the trance effect would not last long (although there were residual effects on Sukuna's own domain).

Megumi took the burden of Mahoraga's adaptations and therefore recovered later than everyone else (with the exception of Yuta, as stated in this chapter). We saw his soul speak during the fight because of Yuji's technique, which tore it from Sukuna's, but when Sukuna left Megumi's body he was completely inert.

Well, that first part isn't exactly true? According to a quick search "Due to UV, all the actions one has taken in their life is forced upon them infinitely and they can't do anything but die slowly.". Gojo had to rip off Jogo's head otherwise UV alone would kill him. And even in Shibuya we saw how the 0.2 sec UV very briefly paralized the Disaster Curses. Sorcerers/Curses just have a stronger threshold than regular humans. So they wont be instantly turned into vegetables, sure. But it's only a matter of time.

I'm still confused because Megumi's soul took what amounts to like 6 minutes or so of UV. It doesnt make sense.

The lack of reactions is whats really bothering me like 4-5 people died and they fought the strongest sorcerer in history yet nobody reflects on what just happened and everyone in the trio is acting like this was just a regular mission

I see what you're saying. The duration-effects apply to UV inside the barrier. Any degenerative or vegetated macro-effects that do not happen inside the barrier of the domain are mitigated by cursed energy users once they are outside of the domain. For Megumi to be in a degenerative state in the way you're describing, his body would had to have vegetated inside Gojo's domain, and we know it did not because Sukuna was inhabiting it and did not withstand the technique long enough to reach brain-death.

Jogo would not be able to speak if he were under UV and inside the barrier of the domain. It is a testament to the specific powers of UV that once Gojo dispelled the barrier, he fully expected Jogo to be able to respond to him at that instant, not to be degenerated or slowly undergoing degeneration. He had only been holding him for a few seconds, and Jogo immediately recovered his faculties; Jogo was also conscious as he was being hit.

The implied question is about the distinction between the soul and the body and UV's effects with regards to that distinction. Megumi's soul took on the burden of adaptation, but given that his body resisted (via Sukuna), we can conclude that in the case of UV, if the body resists, the soul follows. This means any incarnate sorcerer of a high enough level could shift technique adaptations to other parts of their soul, and we actually see this in a particular way with Panda.

A condensed way to look at this:

1. The effects of UV are constrained to what happens inside the domain.
2. Cursed energy users and even regular people are able to fully recover from UV outside of the domain, provided that they did not sustain permanent damage within it.
3. Megumi's body did not sustain permanent damage within the domain (due to Sukuna, who inhabited his body, not sustaining permanent damage within it, and even using RCT outside of it), therefore Megumi's body recovered.

The question about the soul and the body has an implied answer but not a stated one. I think Panda's backstory provides enough justification for adaptation.

Just clicked with me that Megumi says to Sukuna he will try for once to live for somebody else. And that somebody is Yuji. Doing what tragically Tsumiki couldnt do for him. Cutest s\*\*\* ever omg
