Bro, how? That doesn't defeat my point at all. I agree, it's a good character moment. But the point stands - AFTER the fact (ie, his death), we get zero meaningful mentions of him and what he meant to them. Nvm a funeral, just f***ing humanize the guy.
the fact that he only said stuff like this to yuji is highly disappointing. He needed stuff like this with the whole cast before he went out
Bingo. He was like a father figure to Megumi and that mf barely reacted. Sure makes him endearing
Megumi overall is such a waste of a character (a common theme in the series).

Nah dude was in almost every chapter teaching them. Swapping bodies. He was there when Yuta took his body. He was there when Yuji popped the domain. And he was there when Nobara returned betting on Hakaris fever. He jokes to Megumi about his father. And he is there when Yuji encourages stalker guy.
Its really just fanservice youre asking for really
Youre really just asking for more of the same. Which I guess is also a compliment to story in a way. It definitely is too short, kinda speaks on how awesome the characters are when everybody cant get enough of them tho

Bro, you still don't get it people are complaining how the character didn't REACT to his passing.
Just another effect of Gege rushing this s*** to an abrupt ending without giving us any satisfying conclusions, I guess.

Oh man you guys nitpicking
Oh man you guys nitpicking
How is it nitpicking to say one of the most important characters in the story died and his students didn't give a f***
But trust me, that doesn't even scratch the surface of why this ending was absolute buns

As I said before its a stupid point imo this isnt tik tok. We dont need react content. Gojos story is awesome. Sad reaction shots add nothing. The students clearly care about him as the 270 prior chapters establish. You dont need to constsntly repeat the same points
Much bigger issue was opening so many boxes prior in the story that gege didnt deliver on. The ending itself is quite good imo. The story too short
Fandoms Gojo cult absolutely god awful worse than the Eren s*** ngl

That's an absolutely ridiculous to say - to expect ppl to not be upset at a beloved character not having a proper send off. You chalking it up to people being "cultists" is disingenuous.

A lot of JJK fans consider this ending bad, and spoiler - it's not bc of how Gege handled Gojo. The unresolved plot threads are countless.
couldn’t get through the first ep
main dudes such a loser lol
this more powerful to me
This does not translate to not having small funeral
I would want a small plaque or bench with his name to him.
Sukunas final finger gets a salute?

We don't need reactions to the most important death in the series? Yuji gave more of a reaction to f\*\*\*ing junpei dying and his weird curse brothers then his own teacher its a very fair criticism
sry but this tanked towards the end. Pretty harshly. The fight against Sukuna was way too overlong with pointless flashbacks explaining techniques and how intelligent and how far our protagonists can look into the future and Sukuna pulls another hidden technique (compare this to Dragon Ball Super's Granolah arc and Shinjuku Showdown is actually worse in that regard). Plottwist after plottwist. Terrible witing all over this arc. I actually like the last chapter tbf even though there are unresovled plot threads, character arcs etc..
This reminds me of when Naruto's war arc came around. It already had it's issues but was a fantastic series up to that point and then it all became one confusing mess during it's climax. JJK doesn't get as confusing in the last arc (Culling Game is more guilty of that.) but it's messy as hell. Just being kept alive by supposed hype moments or subversions. The anime adaption of Naruto kinda saved it tho so I'm hoping for the same here (maybe just leave some twists out and include story-relevant flashbacks).
That was a good scene but that was years ago when the manga first started and it was more like a motivational power up flashback then a passing of the torch type of thing with yuji Gojo knew Megumi the longest he should honestly have way more to say to him other then I killed your dad lol
I’m anime only and intend to soon start the manga right after the Shibuya incident arc, but streets telling me that Nobara really came back
Ngl tho, one thing that has made me a bit hesitant to pick up the manga is the amount of manga readers that s*** on the culling games and the final arc
