Modulo first impressions

Impressive that it stands on its own. I REALLY like that Gege is tackling on a contemporary issue like immigration while simultaneously expanding the world building sorely lacking in the prequel. The way it uses the older generation is more nuanced, and doesn’t function as a launching pad to boost up the current generation’s powers. There’s no powercreeping past the older generation, rather it’s a more organic system where peace time have brought power levels down.

if they continue to upscale the s*** out of all of the characters like they did with jogo and choso last season, and now naoya in these first 2 eps of season 3

I will forgive any plot nastiness. The characters that were poorly utilized or got lame ass deaths, just upscale them to the moon and give us a spectacle at least

I hear you. Jogo had that dawg in him, never backed down, and really fought the two best players. Meanwhile, Naoya went from head of the Zenin to “I’m Maki’s cousin” when someone stronger pulled up.
