Idk why gege got this intrinsic need to overcomplicate everything. Not even exclusive to the culling games rules, every ability in the manga gets contrived explanations when in reality they're not that complex. I remember having to re-read chapters 4 times to understand some of the abilities we'll see later on in the anime, and despite how much i love it, gojo vs sukuna is a prime culprit. Goddamn if you're not wiki deep into how sorcery works you'll struggle to understand a thing, It gets so technical only the nerdiest fans can follow along.
I swear manga like hxh never had this problem. The latest arc in hxh is very complex too, but mainly because of the amount of sideplots happening at the same time and most importantly, the long hiatuses in between.
Even the most complex hxh abilities never had people this perplexed or confused.
And its a shame because gege is good at coming up with cool abilities. Even the culling games are cool as a concept although it ends too soon and the conclusion isnt rewarding
HxH in the latest arc definitely has word salad more than Gege ever did. There are chapters with pages filled with writing at the complete brim. Even HxH fans will admit that, but it’s okay because people are interested either way.
He ain’t really job this time, fully adapted Mahoraga beat his s*** in lol
I think this has become my fav JJK ED. The song sounds great and the lyrics are quite genius

!https://youtu.be/I_cJLTNM1WYI've been seeing this sentiment a lot especially now with the recent developments. For me, I just can't get past the visuals and the soothing feel of the last one

Oh yeah, visually that one’s amazing. And I love the band that performs it - Hitsujibungaku. I was actually introduced to them through that song, and I’m pretty sure it ended up being one of my most played tracks at the time.
Rn tho, the newer ED is hitting differently for me. The more somber tone and lyrics really resonate.

Especially if you read modulo, the lyrics and mood describe yuji currently

Yeah, it actually feels like the artist wrote the song with modulo's context in mind. Itadori deserved better, man.
Is season 3 good so far? As much as I liked the Shibuya arc early on, it got exhausting quick. Do they got more going on story wise

S3 so far is starting right where we left off, recent ep was all exposition about current- and past events and next ep is character focused.
I’m seeing one particular manga get slandered to high hell right now and the over obsessive fans for it are defending it with the most egregious arguments lol mind you these people defending this other manga would be the same ones who would attack JJK. If only they’d give the same amount of grace as they do that manga. Because holy hell the reaching is insane. I wouldn’t even bring it up but I’m about keeping the same energy. Enjoying the s*** show

If you ask the CSM fans on here they will be dishonest but here’s the Japanese CSM fans dogging the s*** out of it. People all around are feeling this way.
Tl: “Chainsaw Man Part 2's massive fizzle-out is reaching a level that's starting to etch itself into manga history, in terms of the sheer drop-off.
The only thing I'm really curious about is "why did this happen," and I get that making it public is impossible, but man, I desperately want to know that much”
Like if you are going to give grace to one manga, give it to all, is all I’m saying. I love CSM part 1 and haven’t cared for part 2 but it’s just a weird trend to hate on JJK while your own manga has struggling reception.
Big CSM fan mind you
