Thats most of it along with some music choices I’m in agreement with. Biggest for me is Jinichi not being urgent like in the manga when approaching Maki.
Toji scene, some of Maki’s walking scenes looked a lil off, and also idk what’s with the aura jumping like they are a jet lmao. Great ep regardless of those minor flaws but that’s what I saw

Anime adaptation not always portrays panel for panel with high fidelity tbh
Whole arc is just revenge p*** and maki random power up the worst part is maki acting nonchalant about it
Tsundere mom at the end
Just s*** on top of s***

Also the original art before he fix it in volume
Naobito the only thing holding that arc together
You call it filler but to me those are important bricks when creating a great story. Getting to know more about characters and the world they inhabit helps make these stories more real, more emotional and immersive.
To me jjk is missed opportunity the manga, because this keeps happening. Every time i find something or someone interesting in this manga, they immediately get shoved away by the author.
For example (manga spoilers) The culling games shouldve been much longer imo, they end just as they start really getting interesting, and kenjaku, while having a fitting finale to his character, never amounted to anything considering his reach and importance in the narrative.
This is just an example of many, and its why im so frustrated with this work. Theres plenty to love but the author loves shooting themselves in the foot. I thought they ended jjk to move on to something new but no, modulo is jjk 2. I just don't understand it
I call it filler bc that's typically what non-manga content is called. It's not an inherently derrogatory term. Just saying.

heavenly restriction was already established
Niggas crying
If you didn't lean out your seat when multiple frames of naoya started flashing onscreen you a hoe
If you didn't soy at the instant replay you a hoe
This was cooler than the manga. The final moment of maki moms finishing him off hit away harder here imo
Two more to come?
So Yuji vs Higgy is definitely one, Megumi vs Reggie is one. Sendai is one, Kashimo vs Hakari is one. I know people like to be pissy about Yuki and Choso vs Kenny but that’s still a peak fight. And if your weakest fight is Maki vs Cursed Naoya then that’s not bad at all, because that fight is an 8 out of 10 truthfully. But it’s all good, I’ll let the anime speak for itself. Every fight in the CG was good to some of the best fights in the series.
Oh right i forgot about higuruma
Another great but wasted character

What i mean is i'd have wanted the manga to have more content too, not just the anime

Gotchu
Bro is wrong
See what I mean about how they glaze one manga with clear problems then come in here and s*** on JJK? Lol
JJK has the funniest people talking about it
Did naoya get hit 24 times with that punch? Is that how the power works?
You can make 24 movements/actions in one second but they have to be predetermined and also humanly possible
For example you can’t just say my first movement is me on the floor and my second is me on top of a building. Nah buddy you can’t move that far in one step. But you can take 24 different steps in 1 second, or 24 strides, 24 punches
When Naoya is fighting maki he doesn’t stop his technique like he did against choso so he continues to gain momentum, speed, and power
If you touch someone they also have to follow your technique rules so they have to split their next second of movement into 24 pre planned actions or they’re frozen for a second instead
So nah maki didn’t punch him 24 times but she essentially had to predict naoyas movement and speed and then pre planned 24 actions that eventually led to her first hitting his face
After rewatch yea it’s great don’t even really dislike anything anymore.
I feel like we’re gonna get some long form anime only content like a Toji backstory or Hein Arc movie
Niggas want more backstory about people that don’t matter is crazy. The backstory was choso hitting naoya with the checkmate. Keep the filler
I think they’re some credible critiques for the episode, music choices, and from what I read, a lot of people were hoping for the fight scene with the Hei to be extended. I also thought that part was gonna be an entire episode by itself tbh. Extremely pleased with what was given, but yea I’d have liked for the second half to have been extended tbh.
Idk what it is but, for lack of a better term… the vibes this season are sensational
Just that lil ode to Toji from Naoya made go and rewatch Hidden Inventory. His mystique is just unmatched
But it’s more than that. It’s the way Gege writes everyone around Toji that makes him so special. He’s talked about with such distain, but there is a hint of deference to it. Then it’s like you take a step back from that, and see the larger picture. How a culture can be so set in their ways, that they socially shun, and eventually excommunicate him from their society because he wasn’t blessed in the proper way. It is really poignant social commentary. It all comes full circle with Maki and Mai “Destroy it all”.
This s*** got me cryin man. That nigga was glazin like a b****
