And they are definitely going to have an encounter soon. Dabura has depicted the theme that the strongest feel isolation in strength, and now that he’s found reason to fight all out finding a suppose equal, his enjoyment for fighting is growing while he’s also evolving. Yuji is probably going to get debriefed on the situation from Mino and intervene to save Yuka now. I believe it may be inevitable for Dabura learning CT reversal to take down Raga, but Yuji joins the fray and makes the ritual void. Then when Yuji shows his domain, that may be enough for Dabura to learn it too since he’s now discovered his sense of self, and just needs to know a barrier technique. I can then see it that Yuji will be the one who shows Dabura what true love is (as Yoruzu wanted to show Sukuna). We still need conclusions to Dabura’s sister situation and Yuji’s immortality so I have no idea where any of this goes.

I also just don’t know how Yuka survives with a brain tumor, and how Mahito, and Iori enter the story. Those three things may be all related though. Don’t know if you saw the Iori theories involving his kids with Mahito.

Thanks, totally forgot about Mahito appearing. Iori to my knowledge disappeared after Yuka’s birth, and I’m not familiar with that theory.

From Yamashita himself, Gege scouted early like the BIG nerd he is

Iori made a deal with Mahito to somehow make it so Yuka would be born with 10 shadows and that Tsurugi would have HR. He was so hung up on the current and next generation not being strong that he made a deal with the devil (Mahito) once he went mentally ill. Mahito did so but it gave Yuka her brain tumor, and he probably wanted Iori to do something for him in exchange. But he disappeared after it was done. Thats why Mahito spoke to Tsurugi, because he was looking for Iori based on their deal. We still need to know what Yuji and Iori spoke about so good chance he’ll reenter the story soon too. I have a theory myself but waiting to see if this is first true before I say it

Interesting, first impression is that this builds on what was shown in Shinjuku Showdown: CT’s are engraved on the brain. Mahito was able to unlock a CT in Junpei so the natural progression is to engrave circuits on the brain thereby engraving a CT. That went wrong somewhere and she got a brain tumor is where I’ll stand for now.

I was so caught up on the alien stuff that this made the manga even more interesting lmao.
