Both get special episodes focused on their stories, changed the opening by replacing each others jobbers, both get extended runtime. Maki and Yuta are truly THE power couple

yuta gets mega b\*\*\*\*ed by sukuna btw
The reason I’m saying that is because Maki’s episode adapted five chapters, two of them being fights and was extended beyond the manga. The Sendai fight will adapt seven chapters, six of them having fights. I only ever felt the pacing being off during Maki’s episode but only because of the amount of dialogue. Going by that logic then the opposite is true which is how I see it. Sure, there’s dialogue during Sendai but not enough for me to be alarmed if the majority is fighting.
You were 100% right, they fully cooked

True but then again everyone got walked down by him

wish hakari got in on it. Sukuna woulda loved fighting him and would been interesting to see if sukuna could have “won” the fever once or twice

Exactly, he was so underutilized it is maddening

would have at least liked to see more of that actual fight hopefully mappa gets the go ahead from gege to animate it but I can see us getting the exact same rushed pace at the end
How this triple threat was movin the entire episode
What a f***ing season
this makes me more excited for hakari's fight

Yuta should have fought him right after Maki and Yuki did. When he took over Megumi. Would have been flames.

the amount of times earlier in the manga sukuna could have been crushed is lowkey astonishing

Yuta wouldn't have won because it was too early but it would have been a dope fight. Then maybe Uruame pops in and catches everyone off guard and thats how Sukuna leaves.

Some context regarding Yuta’s ancestry: He’s both from Suguwara Mitchizane and the Fujiwara Clan. This could explain why he has a larger reserve of CE than Gojo who is also a descendant of Suguwara but not the Fujiwara Clan. They elevated the source material by having Yuta and Uro going through the museum where you peep them going through stuff from that era and Yuta stopping behind a painting (real life too) of his ancestor, Suguwara Mitchizane. Shota Goshozono will truly be missed.

No spoilers plz but does this have actual narrative significance? I liked this detail
