I can't even think of a stretch a series has had as insane as what this guy has done TWICE in this weekly. SI arc was every week and (redacted) was like 20 chapters of a god tier fight. How the f*** can one human do this

I’d give the series a solid 9/10 I think. If I wasn’t hype as hell for most of the last 50 chapters, I’d prob be more apt to critique things that I felt were kinda asspull-y, characters popping out of nowhere for convenience’s sakes, and ofc the narrative being told through flashbacks so heavily. Very DS-esque. JJK just doesn’t really rely on any of this for the first 70% of the series so it’s more striking in that last leg imo

Still an incredible manga and has some of the greatest highs I’ve ever read

I didnt want to complain about the pacing bc I was going through the series at crackhead speed. But it also felt like the last arc was also going at crackhead speed lmao. it was like multiplicative

dude's appendix burst and I'm sure he was tired as s*** too. I get it. It felt alot like the TYBW or the 4NW arcs from Bleach and Naruto, but I gotta shoot Kubo and Kishimoto bail and mention they did 2x more chapters than our guy Akutami. But everyone's level of stress is different, admittedly.

Either way I give him props that the hype moments were hype. There's manga you get where the pacing is dog s*** and the high points suck. Gege at least got those high points down pat.

skipping the hakari fight pretty much entirely to an offscreen W was some ass. Hope the anime adds it. Basically hoping for the back half they TYBW it where he adds the stuff that he maybe originally intended to but there’s a strong chance that doesn’t happen

Idk I think we all wouldn’t have minded another extended three month break like he had after the maki fight if it meant he would finish strong. It felt like there was a lot more left or to flesh out than how it ended up going
