I haven’t seen season 1 since it first came out but was there a big jump in animation quality? Not that season 1 looked bad by any means but this new season is up there with demon slayer and mob psycho

I wouldn’t say the animation got much better, just a different style that allows faster and a more fluid movement due the art being more simplistic. That being said, season 1’s animation is underrated. I don’t think anything has popped animation fight wise like the mahito vs Yuji and Nanami, Hanami vs Todo and Yuji, or cursed wombs fights yet but sure that’s going to change, most likely next week.

Yuji v Mahjito is prob the best written as far as build up but the most insane s\*\*\* is def in the culling
