The first take is so dumb because even if it is a shonen manga/anime its disrespectful to summarize JJK as teen s***, Gege has written amazing and deep characters with a great story IN a battle manga, would you say the same if it was labeled a seinen manga? Literally him telling Maharaga show me what you got and being satisfied show this was all planned. He upgraded his cleave and dismantle and treated Gojo like all his other opponents but with little more respect. There was zero character assassination for either of them.

And people also don’t get Gojo was losing halve this fight and had to literally destroy his brain multiple times to stay alive, and also felt he would lose earlier on. He just got a rush from the black flash and took advantage of it and his CT, but he actually started realizing how strong Sukuna was midway. The fans just saw Gojo on the offense and took that he was clearly stronger, but Sukuna is just too damn smart. There was zero character assassination.

Now there’s no reason to fight with 10 shadows (especially since most of the shadows are dead) because infinity is out the way.

Gege has a very nuanced writing style he doesnt show charcter moments often cause it is not the focus of the story.

yeah i think sukuna shines the most whenever he interacts with yuji. i think gege did a good job setting him up as yuji's opposite and enemy to the other sorcerers. it really paid off the most in shibuya arc cause good god the havoc that nigga caused towards the end of that arc
