draaaaaaaaaaake
hes really the ultimate fan in the best way possible. my dream is to get this rich so i can enjoy life as much as drake
dude has a virgil jet
speak for yourself
i used to but i can feel myself gradually losing interest in music based completely around that
This is the part that’s so hard to see coming when you’re a teenager.
By the time you’re in your late twenties early thirties, the ignorant stuff loses its appeal. You’re too wise to fall for it, especially when the metaphors and language have nosedived off a cliff. Not a shot at Drake, his pen is amazing so he gets a pass.
In fact you give a pass to some of the artists you grew up on, but certainly not to new artists, all of whom are younger than you and saying the same ignorant s*** you’ve heard for 2+ decades.
One of my favorite things about Cole and Kendrick, and even Hov, is I felt like they grew up with me content-wise instead of doing the same s*** over and over. Idc how pretentious that sounds it’s my truth. Growing up sucks when it comes to rap.
it's why you loved it in the first place you say it yourself lol
there's nothing wrong with loving materialestic s*** my man
not really
materialistic s*** is cool once in awhile but basing your whole aesthetic around it doesn't engage me
i feel pity more than admiration
with drake specifically his vulnerability is what attracted me initially

yea you see through all of it especially when you've had it yourself and transcended it or have seen people close to you ruined by it
that's why i love kendrick too - he has substance
Best part of the video is the end.

You really gon act like drake don't belong in that list lmao?
Wait, did Drake actually buy those items from Pharrell's auction? Or he just had them made to look exactly the same? I mean the golden psp and the N.E.R.D chain.
Powerful.
need the central cee collab expeditiously

Drake don't got no introspective music?

I see what you’re saying but I think a mix of both is good and it depends on the delivery more than the content. Drake has great braggadocious songs, this not being one of them. There’s times his stuff feels immature and regressive of his previous stuff but he also knows how to make that dope introspective/luxury s*** too.
If a Hov or Cole made a song like this, mfs would clown it.
Y’all can’t be gassing how can I be homophobic dude ☠️
