lyricism is about creativity, imagination, putting together words that paint a vivid picture and convey writers emotions/thoughts

it's no coincidence that the majority of the best lyricists oat are the lyrical miracle type rappers because they push this concept to the brink

you just always have to keep in mind lyricism on it's own does not define a rapper. you also have flow, delivery, charisma, wordplay, presence. some of these overlap but most artists are only strong in a select few areas at most.

someone with good wordplay and delivery can get a good point across with 5 words but that doesn't mean it was lyrical
