don't contact uber. contact your bank/credit card company and get your card canceled and your charge reversed. They will send you a new card with a new card number within a couple days

thats how it works they dont need your card they can get your card info from anywhere on the internet/dark web

credit card theives start with small charges to see if the actual owner of the card will notice and if there if it goes without notice then the charges will start getting bigger and bigger and they will run your credit dry. cancel the card immediately and contact your bank for a chargeback as soon as possible

They usually do small things to test it first. $6 sounds about right. They dont need to physically have it to use it

Before you cancel your card check your uber account first and make sure nothing was charged there. It might just be a hacked uber account rather than a stolen card.

Well the thing is I didn’t have the app downloaded so I redownloaded it to check the account and my main email that I assume I used for it back in 2016 wasn’t even registered for uber? I put my phone number in as you now have to register with a phone number (my number now is different than it was back then) and my main email in and it made a whole new account
