So I wrapped the strap around the top of my seat. So the bag was behind the passenger seat but the strap was wrapped around the headrest. It wasn’t just sitting in the seat.

I left my wallet on the seat of my car for 10 minutes once so I could run upstairs to grab something

And it was a brand new car, like I just drove it off the lot an hour before and I was left with no wallet and a smashed window

No, what im saying is I thought having my bag/wallet facing the backseat would l=be better than just leaving it on the seat. Either way, they were going to brea inside my vehicle no matter where my bag was located. I just learned not to leave anything else.

Put a sign on ya front window that says "straight-to-police video recording in and around this vehicle" when you not in it.

It won't deter theft, but it will serve as a sardonic reminder that even if there was such a recording, the cops wouldn't even investigate it beyond maybe the bare minimum of filing a police report.
