Especially a man of his popularity and successthey dont do that no more. Artist development long gone since s*** like soundcloud got rid of the middle man between the artist and the label. Plus these managers/A&Rs today are some of the worst motherfuckers ever lol. They grown lazy and don’t understand once THESE NIGGAS DIE so do your meal ticket. And goddammit you need to be treating them as such. Do groundwork, know if your client got beef in an area realize maybe they shouldn’t be in that area, be an actual A&R.
