So I just moved out of moms basement and into an apartment with a roommate.

    What foods should I buy??
I want to cook more but simple stuff cuz I'm absolutely non experienced at cooking.

What stuff should I buy for the fridge and the pantry

    I'm 30 btw

If you want to start with the bare essentials as far as food goes

    Chicken, rice, broccoli.

You can usually make a stir fry with whatever vegetables are on sale

    Eggs are always good

Experiment with different sauces and condiments

Try and make a new dish at least once a week when you're starting out

    Curry is always good

bro whenever I take my rice out the cooker, it's always sticky so I gotta rinse the finished rice in a basin

I swish the rice through water to clean it before even putting it in the cooker too, idgi
