Invasive species don't breed the animals they're consuming??? That's why they're so bad because they hunt and hunt and hunt, with nothing replenishing what they're hunting. Hence humans in the past hunting animals to extinction. But that's what those humans did to survive, but now because we've built a flourishing society, herbs like you just go around shouting s*** while going to the same market for your veggies. What would you have done in hunter gather times I guess you would've still been the model human.

We only replenish like, 6 different animals that we eat. The rest? Get absolutely f***ed. Tell me how its totally fine to raze the amazon rainforest to plant crops to only feed to cattle. Did the animals and ecosystem in the amazon not deserve to just...live? What about fish? Ever since the 80's fishing technology has only ever grown and got better at catching fish, and yet the number of fish caught has only gone downhill. We on track for fishless oceans before 2040. The only fish will exist in aquaculture farms. Tell me how that's better than any other invasive species.

Did you know that even though 3/4 of agricultural land is used for livestock that the remaining 1/4 for crops contributes over 80% of the world calories consumed and 2/3 of the worlds protein consumed?

Animals are a horrifically inefficient way to feed a population, and even at the enormous rate we consume them (200m per hour) we still get the vast majority of our nutrition from plants

Nobody said eating animals was the most efficient use of the Earth's resources. People eat animals because they like it and part of the human experience is enjoying f***ing life. A dude may live in poverty, but if I've got to hate my job, my life, at least I can partake in eating some food that tastes delicious to me, not carrot stew with cauliflower wings so that Plants on ktt feels better about himself for contributing to society in no other way than saying you abstain from meat.
