This. Me and the homie talk about it all the time because being from Jersey it was a good feeling having Dash and Retch represent on some underground s***… but bro kept gettin locked up, and I felt like his lifestyle got way too fast for his raps.

Then he also started doing this drill s*** way too much

There was a time when both him & Da$H kept getting locked up to the point they were both in jail at the same time

Dont forget Yams had a hand in finding dudes like G Perico and Maxo Kream man. Special time

Yams was the last great tastemaker in rap, I’ve held this opinion for a long time. Since then its been the likes of adam22 and dj akademiks

he was the last one that knew how to blend the old and the new. In his interviews you could tell he's a student of the game

Polo Sporting Goods is RetcH's best project. A complete braindead decision to make 8 more projects like Finesse The World

Sigh… like I’m not gonna say ATL didn’t get us some classics but it was frustrating seeing mfs like Rocky/Mob, Drake and Ye dumb their s*** down to fit into that sound.

I miss when Rocky was in that bag with yams

went from trill era to hypebeast era
