What do you do? You don't get on roofs right? As in like why is it difficult?
I do just the sales side of it. We have techs specifically for install. Mindset is what makes it difficult. Most people only focus on the money without realizing the amount of rejection you have to go through to get 2-3 sales in a day. At this point I am completely immune to rejection, people's bs etc. some people don't stick around to callous their minds to that point.

May 5, 2021you have to have a certain personality to be a successful salesman. its not as simple as looking at the top salesman and saying to yourself "im just gonna grind" and you're gonna come close to where he/she is at
my old boss was #1 in the company in life insurance sales. he was like 10x above the 2nd place person. he had that salesman personality where you have to be assertive and convincing at the same time. know what to say, what not to say.
being nice and working hard is not enough, imo.
