My mom found me OD’ing off xans and took me to the hospital. Then took me to rehab right after.

How productive do you feel it’s been for your health?

Not gonna lie it f***in sucks. I’m there with a bunch of crackheads and s***. Bunch of homeless people too. We go to classes everyday about addiction and stuff and learn about the 12 steps. Luckily it’s not a religious based program. Then at night we go to AA/NA meetings because we have to go to a certain amount of meetings per week.

It’s been a massive boost bro. I do well in structured environments and I’m on medication for my depression finally as well. I’m like a whole new person it’s crazy

How much longer do you have to be there?

5-6 more months

I had to take classes once upon a time for my substance use but it was only a couple hours then I went home. Couldn’t imagine having your whole day built around it.

It’s a free program. That’s why there’s a lot of homeless people that come. You really have to f*** up you’re entire life to come here but my mom didn’t wanna waste any money on my dumb ass and I don’t really blame her.

Well I’m definitely never doing hard d**** again and not smoking weed. Never really had an issue with alcohol so I’m not sure what’s gonna happen with that. And yes! That’s like the major reason I’m staying. If I complete the program, they’ll hook it up with a nice job (especially for me since my record is clean compared to most of the guys here) and even give a car and options for places to stay for cheap.
